大伯公庙Tua Pek Kong Temple @ Sitiawan

After half day trip in Pangkor island
went back to mainland Lumut
and visited Tua Pek Kong Temple

This temple is an attraction site in Lumut, Malaysia. It is famous for the gigantic God statues and the blessings. Many who went there to pray had won lottery. That is also the reason how it can change from a small temple into an attraction site. It is because Chinese believe that when you strike a jackpot, you have to donate part of it as charity. So, you can imagine how many donation it has received from these people, in order to turn it into such a beautiful place with so many giant statues. ~ExpertColumn~

These large God ( Tua Pek Kong, Guanyin etc) statues are facing the sea~

Lin Ye Kong Temple @ Pangkor Island

Another place to visit in Pangkor
Lin Ye Temple
which is situated at north of Teluk Nipah

Built in the honour of Kuan Ying or the Goddess of Mercy. It is built on an outcrop of rock and is located several yards from the road. A rugged and narrow dirt road cut through the lightly forested path to a wooden bridge that leads to the entrance of the shrine - Go2TravelMalaysia

View from the temple~

 Fish scale pudding~
at first i was afraid  to try this
but they add in the lime flavour
there is no difference between the normal pudding and this fish scale pudding
the texture is smoother than the normal one^^

Ice cream and bun^^

Creative artwork~ can buy as souvenir but have to bargain k~

Fu Lin Gong @ Pangkor Island

 Skip shopping part
straight to next attraction^^
Fu Lin Kong is a Chinese temple in Pangkor Island. Many Chinese tourists like to visit and pray in this temple to get the blesses from god. However, this doesn't mean that Chinese temple is only the favourite place for Chinese only. Other races and foreign tourist also love this place because Fu Lin Kong is one of the popular temple in Pangkor Island and its exquisite environment to take photo.

Fu Lin Kong has various Buddhist statues inside the temple and many alcoves and ponds around. Many tourists will make their wish in this temple because they believe the wish will come true.

Old Dutch Fort @ Pangkor Island

This time i really went to Pangkor Island~
Half day Trip on the island

Took this pic while on the way to Dutch Fort
in van without air condition^^ HOT....

First stop, the Old Dutch Fort
The fort was built by the Dutch in 1670 for storage and protection of tin supplies from the sultanate of Perak. The fort was destroyed in 1690 by the Malays who were discontent with the methods used by the Dutch in obtaining minerals. It was rebuilt by the Dutch in 1743 and a force of 60 soldiers was placed to guard the fort until 1748, when the force was disbanded and the fort abandoned.
The fort was reconstructed by Malaysia's museum department in 1973 and was gazetted as an ancient monument and historical site under the Antiquities Act 1976 No. 242 Perak Gazette dated March 21, 1978. According to this act, any person found guilty of vandalising an ancient monument and historical site is liable to imprisonment not exceeding three months or a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to both.
The fort is set a short distance from the ocean and consists of three brick walls with round windows at regular intervals. A small park and some souvenir stores have been set up around the area for visitors and is a popular tourist sight on the island today. ~ Wikipedia
